Job Title:Quality Coordinator
Description:

Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):

  • Working within and supporting the Quality Management System, including ISO, RD, SQF, and any other standards to which we adhere
  • Assists in developing and maintaining procedures and work instructions and appropriate document control
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control Analytical Testing on Finished and Process Products.
  • Proper documentation and recording of test results.
  • Reporting of results to appropriate personnel.
  • Proper completion of shipping requirements including Bill-of-Ladings, Certificate of Analysis, packaging of samples.
  • Acquire and maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and supplies to remain aligned with the needs of current product lines
  • APQP team member
  • Provide Technical Support to internal and external customers.
  • Communication with Customers as needed.
  • Management of confirmed and potential nonconforming materials
  • Investigation and analysis of nonconformances
  • Input packaging production information into Adage.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Department to forecast inventory needs and schedule packaging operations.
  • Work as a liaison between the Quality Manager and facility departments.
  • Prepares for and successfully handles all audits internal and external, including management of follow up activities
  • Support PVS’ Safety Policies, Programs and Goals.
  • Manage site’s internal audit program, including findings and resulting corrective actions
  • Uphold the fundamentals of the Nicholson Nine and Responsible Care Guiding Principles. Environmental Health, Safety and Security

 Required Education / Training / Equivalent Experience (Prior to hire / transfer):

  • S./B.A. Degree preferred. Associates Degree acceptable with appropriate experience.
  • Working knowledge of statistical quality control.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work with and handle Hazardous Chemicals in a safe manner.
  • High level of motivation and self-supervision.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and/or nights as orders and production dictates.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
