Job Title:Sales Account Manager

Position:         Sales Account Manager

 Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Responsible for the Sales Management of the PVS Manufacturing Group accounts in the Chicago, IL and the Greater Midwest territory. 

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding all budgeted goals.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing new business and new product development through leads and market research.
  • Maintain regular contact with accounts and develop relationships with key contacts.
  • Technical sales aptitude preferred.
  • Chemical sales experience / chemical education preferred.
  • Resolve product and service issues with customers.
  • Administration of price changes.
  • Responsible for performing all duties related to territory management.
  • Obtain site assessments and necessary background information for new accounts
  • Market research as directed by sales management
  • Participation in departmental projects as requested
  • Overnight travel required.


Required Education/ Training/ Equivalent Experience:


  • B.S., B.A. or equivalent desired (technical degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years sales or related experience
  • Strong computer skills necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of motivation and willingness to take ownership
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Independent and entrepreneurial approach is a plus.
